Demulsifiers

In the production of crude oil, the greatest part of the crude oil occurs as a water-in-oil emulsion. The composition of the continuous phase depends on the water/oil ratio; the natural emulsifiers contained in crude oils have complex chemical structure, so that to overcome their effect, petroleum-emulsion demulsifiers must be selectively developed. As a new oil field are developed, and as the production conditions change at older fields, there is a constant need for demulsifiers that lead to a rapid separation into water and oil, as well as minimal-residual water and salt mixtures.

Corrosion Inhibitors  
Corrosion inhibitors, which are used for protection of oil pipelines, are often complex mixtures. Corrosion problems may occur in numerous systems in the petroleum industry. ACPA offers a wide range from corrosion inhibitors in the three phases (gas, oil and water) in operating environment and the ability to inhibit the system to maintain low level of corrosion.

Scale Inhibitors

Some risk of scale deposition occurs in many operations in the petroleum industry. Scale deposition happens particularly in production, simulation and transport. Scaling can occur when a solution becomes supersaturated, which occurs mostly if the temperature changes in the course of injection operations. Also, if two chemicals that will form a precipitate are brought together, a scale is formed. ACPA scale inhibitors prevent the formation of different scales (carbonate & sulfate) and their precipitation on the internal surfaces of the pipelines.

Paraffin Dispersant
Wax precipitation in the mobile bulk fluid causes an increase in the viscosity of the fluid, if enough wax precipitates, pumpability and restart after shut down can be affected. During transport of fluid through a pipeline a gradual build up of wax on the pipe wall will cause a decrease in the internal diameter of the pipe even if no solidification of the bulk fluid occurs. These chemicals inhibit the association of wax crystals with each other and their attachment to surfaces. They are often comprised of a surfactant type chemical in conjunction with an aromatic solvent to aid solubility of some paraffin waxes. ACPA has a wide range from Paraffin dispersant suitable to solve any problems of paraffin in the oil system.

Asphaltene Dispersant
crude oil system can become unstable because of changes in hydrocarbon composition, pressure, or temperature during normal production from the reservoir or during commingling with dissimilar crude oils. These changes can generate asphaltene particles that can result in significant production and refining problems. The generation of these particles is a two-step process: phase separation and asphaltene particle growth. Phase separation occurs when nanosize asphaltene particles from the crude oil precipitate and grow into large aggregates. ACPA asphaltene dispersants prevent this grow of aggregates, ACPA offers many types of asphaltene dispersants and technical supports for any of this problems.

Pour Point Depressant
Pour-point Depressant (PPD) is a petroleum-product additive that lowers the temperature at which oil ceases to flow, Or an additive that retards wax crystallization and lowers the pour point, the pour point depressants are crystal modifiers, tend to co-precipitate with paraffin crystals and prevent them from forming structured fluid. This will help to reduce: pour point, viscosity, Yield value and Adhesiveness of paraffin to a pipe surface. ACPA present different types of liquid and solid Pour-point Depressant (PPD) to satisfying your purposes.

Biocides

Biocide is a broad spectrum anti-microbial agent designed to prevent the growth of microorganisms in fuel storage tanks. Biocide inhibits the growth of sulfate reducing bacteria, algae and fungi as well as a host of other microorganisms, including aerobic and anaerobic bacteria algae, molds and yeasts. ACPA Biocide is the best choice to solve your problems with sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB).

Sludge RemovalA range of products which are acting differently based on the nature of sludge and the affected equipment, which cover the following characteristics

  • Powerful emulsifiers for removal of sludge from crude oil storage tanks and powerful detergent emulsifier containing surface active agents.
  • Removal of soiling caused by oil, grease, tar, bitumen, silicone deposits found on any metallic surface, in particular pipelines and systems, exchangers, storage tanks.
  • Solvents for cleaning the vessels and lines from petroleum materials.
  • Powerful detergent containing long chain polymer used for reducing friction.
  • Reducing operating pressures and increased flow of crude oil through the pipeline.

Oil Spill Dispersant
Chemical dispersants can be used to reduce the interfacial tension of floating oil slicks so that the oils disperse more rapidly into the water column and thus pose less of a threat to shorelines, birds, and marine mammals. The action of oil spill-treating agent goes beyond simply dispersing the spilled oil. In particular, oil spill treating agents can be divided in to four classes: solidifiers, demulsifying agents, surface-washing agents, and dispersants. The majority of oil spill-treating agents, however, are described as dispersants. ACPA gives very effective oil soluble and water soluble products, which are biodegradable. These products are certified for both efficiency and toxicity level.

H2S Scavengers

High concentration of H2S is considered to be dangerous to life and health. It is possible to use a scavenger to remove high concentrations of H2S and this may be the best choice for a short-term need especially if capital cost can be minimized through continuous injection. ACPA staff can assist you to identify and select the most cost-effective chemical for your facility. Also, ACPA staff can assist you for applying the scavenger treatments, and monitor the results to ensure optimum performance.

Refinery Chemicals

 Desalting Aid

Lubricant

LUBRICANT 

    • (Sometimes referred to as “lube”) is a substance (often a liquid) introduced between two moving surfaces to reduce the friction between them, improving efficiency and reducing wear.
    • Have the function of dissolving foreign particles. Petroleum-based lubricants like Vaseline tend to dissolve petroleum products such as rubber and plastic; water-based lubricants will dissolve polar chemicals; silicone-based lubricants can breakdown silicone toys.
    • It protects the internal combustion engines in motor vehicles and powered equipment.
    • Contain 90% base oil (most often petroleum fractions, called mineral oils) and less than 10% additives. Vegetable oils or synthetic liquids such as hydrogenated polyolefins, esters, silicone, fluorocarbons and many others are sometimes used as base oils.
    • Lubricants are comprised of a base fluid, usually of petroleum origin, combined with added chemicals that enhance performance. Base fluids are collected from two main sources. Refined crude oil or a mixture of chemical compounds that perform the same task.

The Basics of Lubricant Additives

ACPA are working mainly in the field of lubricant additives either Crankcase Packages or Industrial ones. Also, ACPA can produce lubricant oils with all API grades , and in different SAE grades. Our products are based on additive packages of global international companies like : Infineum, Lubrizol, Rhein Chemie, Additive Chemie, ….etc.

1-    For Crankcase

          ACPA have different API grades either for high tear grades or low tear ones.
Diesel
         API (CD, CF/SF, CI4/SL, CF4, CH4, CG4… etc)
Gasoline
         API (SF, SL/CF, SC/CC…. etc)

In SAE (mono grade 40&50) and (multi grade 15W/40, 20W/50, 25W/50).
Also, we have additives for gear oil in different API, with different SAE.

2-    For Industrial
ACPA have additive packages, and lubricant oils for different applications of industry like:

  • Hydraulic Oil: – (Which approved by CM P68, P69, P70 & Dension HF0, HF1, and HF2 & Vickers I-286S).
  • Turbine Oil :- (Which approved by DIN 51515, part 1(L-TD), BS 489, Brown Boveri HTGD 90117, US Steel 120).                                                                      
  • Compressor Oil :- (Which approved by DIN 51506 (VBL, VCL, VDL); ISO/DP 6521 (DAA, DAB, DAH, DAG).

  • Gear Oil: – (Which approved by US Steel 224, AGMA 250.04, AGMA 9005- D94). In different ISO VG (220, 320, 440).  
  • Metal working Fluids: are used in the metal working in the field of Iron, Aluminum, Copper industries in different applications like: Broaching, Punching, Die  casting, Drawing, Grinding, Cutting, and Drilling.

A-  Scale – Corrosion Inhibitors
ACPA provides excellent inhibition of Calcium and Magnesium Salts. The antiscalants exhibit threshold inhibition and crystal distortion properties thereby reducing scale formation. The scale inhibitor can play a role as corrosion inhibitor since it will form a film on the metal surface that can protect it form corrosion attack.ACPA Corrosion-Scale Inhibitors are:

  • Safe to handle: non-irritating and harmless at use levels.
  • Non-polluting: environmentally safe.
  • Stable over wide range of temperature and pH of water.
  • Being a liquid can be directly dosed into the system.

B-  Biocides
Biofilms are produced by microorganisms and consist of a sticky rigid structure of polysaccharides and other organic contaminants.This slime layer is anchored firmly to a surface and provides a protective environment in which microorganisms grow. Biofilms generally form on any surface that is exposed to non-sterile water or other liquids and is consequently found in many environmental, industrial and medical systems. ACPA Biocide inhibits the growth of sulfate reducing bacteria, algae and fungi as well as a host of other microorganisms, including aerobic and anaerobic bacteria algae, molds and yeasts.

C-  Dispersant
Dispersants are used to disperse small particles or droplets. Dispersant is ideal for improving separation of particles in water and preventing settling and clumping. Dispersants are used in applications; hence, they are highly demanded by the clients across the nation. ACPA dispersants are the best choice for you water system.

Oxygen Scavengers

At ACPA water based oxygen scavengers are widely used in seawater injection and production separation systems as a tool to prevent oxygen induced corrosion. The level of dissolved oxygen in these systems is required to be kept at a concentration no greater than 20 parts per billion. It is imperative that dissolved oxygen is excluded from all surface equipment to include vessels, surface supply lines, and related equipment / tank associated with seawater and produced water injection systems Seawater injection systems generally handle water with higher dissolved concentrations and typically use deaeration towers in combination with oxygen scavenger for polishing. ACPA has continued to develop new product to address the upcoming production needs faced by those applications in the enhanced oil recovery applications

Corrosion-Scale Inhibitors

ACPA has extensive range of technically advanced corrosion-scale inhibitors have been specifically developed to be used across a wide range of commercial, industrial and process applications. ACPA anti-corrosion-scale products help manage and control the unwanted problems associated with harsh, corrosive environments and hard water, specifically hardness salts and the formation of scale in a wide range of commercial and industrial process environments that often develop within industrial and process systems

Clarifier
Clarification is the widely accepted and the oldest used method in the effective treatment of water and wastewater. This operation includes removal of sediment, floating material and turbidity from raw wastewater. ACPA clarifiers are used for the purpose of clarification of wastewater.
Polyelectrolyte
Polyelectrolytes are water soluble polymer carrying ionic charge along the polymer chain. Depending upon the charge, these polymers are anionic or cationic. Polyelectrolytes are available in a wide range of molecular weights and charge densities. Polyelectrolytes are both flocculants as well as deflocculate depending upon the molecular weight. A flocculants is essentially a solid liquid separating agent while a de­flocculant is a dispersing agent.
ACPA’s polyelectrolytes have got a wide range of applications right from water purification, oil recovery, color removal, paper making, mineral processing, etc.

Coagulant
The Coagulants that ACPA offer have been developed to enhance the coagulation of suspended solids in water treatment applications. Made using high quality base material, our coagulants are highly demanded by the clients that used for treating raw and waste water.

Special Products

Automatic Transmission Fluid
ACPA have different products use in automatic transmissions, power steering units and certain manual transmissions; it is usually operated through wide temperature range without fluid changes. ACPA ATF products are qualified by general motors cooperation and Ford type CJ and also, Allison C-3 for transmissions. Moreover, they are used in off high way transmissions power steering and other hydraulic systems. We are working with global international brands for DOTs 3, 4, 5. Our products have either ABIC or CASE LAB certificates.

Brake Fluids
ACPA brake fluids are suitable for use in normal motors, vehicles, and motorcycles of drum and disc type, hydraulic brake and clutch systems.
ACPA brake fluids are high quality brake and clutch fluid, meets the following performance requirements
